Wellington Equestrian Village

The area of Wellington, Florida devoted to equine activities is known as the Wellington Equestrian Village. Included in this village are the horse show grounds and the National Polo Center as well as horse farms of all sizes.

The Wellington Equestrian Village Expansion Plans

A 600-acre luxury development that is being planned for Wellington is also going to expand equestrian sports. The proposed plan is expected to significantly expand the Wellington International equestrian showground's and incorporating both show jumping and dressage events.

The expansion, to be known as "The Wellington," calls for single-adding single family custom homes and condos, shopping, offices and dining.

Wellington International

Wellington International is operated by Global Equestrian Group, a Danish company devoted to giving equestrian sports a greater global presence. Wellington International hosts the WEF series and the AGDF each winter.

The Global Equestrian Group has put Wellington International up for sale and is entertaining bids from several potential buyers. It is not anticipated that the sale will effect present or future plans for Wellington International.

WEF Winter Equestrian Festival January - March

The Winter Equestrian Festival is the premier horse show series in Florida. Each year the WEF Show Jumping events feature top horse jumping competitors from throughout the world. You will not want to miss show jumping on Saturday Night Lights. WEF Schedule.

The Global Dressage Festival at Wellington, Florida is held over a twelve week period beginning in January each year. AGDF Schedule

Equestrian Sport Productions

Throughout the year, Equestrian Sport Productions (ESP) holds USEF Level 3 show jumping events at Wellington International. ESP Show Schedule 2024. These events include spring, summer, and fall show jumping.

Wellington International

Wellington International features 12 competition rings throughout the show complex. Featuring exclusively designed show jumping and hunter arena, and new permanent stables.

Show jumping Stadium A is centered on a beautifully manicured grass derby field with natural obstacles covering 60 acres. Shaded stands and easy access to all seating make this stadium a standout for horse show spectators. Moreover, the nearby International Arena features the popular "Saturday Night Lights" show jumping finals each week.

Winter Equestrian Festival (WEF)

The Winter Equestrian Festival Horse Shows are sanctioned by FEI, and USEF with the related benefits of related championship scoring points. WEF is the largest show jumping circuit in the world and attracts top level riders from many different countries to compete in the FEI 2*CSI - 5* CSI events.

Saturday Night Lights. During WEF, spectators can enjoy Saturday Night Lights at the Wellington International main stadium every Saturday evening beginning at 6 pm. Saturday Night Lights features exceptional food, live music, and the highest level of competitive show jumping. General admission is free, but you will pay $20 per car for parking.

Adequan Global Dressage Festival (AGDF) at Equestrian Village

The Global Dressage Festival facility in Equestrian Village is home to "Friday Night Stars" featuring the finest free style musical dressage performances. The musical freestyle, in which horse and rider dance to their own choreography, draws large crowds on Friday nights. General admission is free, but you will pay $20 per car for parking.

The Global Dressage Festival provided an exciting AGDF season in 2024. Featuring CDI 1*- 5* shows with three months of rated dressage shows January - March, the GDF has grown to be the largest dressage show circuit in the world. AGDF Schedule.

Wellington Classic Dressage

Wellington Classic Dressage presents dressage shows throughout the year at three venues including the Palm Beach Equine Sports Complex in Wellington, Jim Brandon Equestrian Center in West Palm Beach, and the Florida Horse Park in Ocala, Florida.

Gold Coast Dressage

Gold Coast Dressage also presents dressage shows throughout the year including shows at the Palm Beach Equine Sports Complex in Wellington and the Jim Brandon Equestrian Center in West Palm Beach.

USPA National Polo Center - Wellington

The NPC is the largest and most spectator-friendly polo facility in the United States and features seven tournament polo fields. In addition, the facility is home to the Gauntlet of Polo and the Women's Polo Championship. The United States Polo Association (USPA) is headquarted here.

Palm Beach Equine Sports Complex

Located at 13070 Pierson Road in Wellington, the PBESC offers 330 stalls for horse show participants. Additionally, PBESC is home to several Gold Coast Dressage Series shows throughout the year. Overall, the complex features a covered arena, two dressage rings, and two jumping arenas.

Based in the epicenter of equestrian competition, Palm Beach Equine Sports Complex is only strides from Wellington International and Wellington Equestrian.

White Fences Equestrian Center

Located in nearby Loxahatchee, FL the White Fences Equestrian Center hosts horse shows throughout the year and is advertised as a dressage boarding and show facility. Monthly boarding is available during the horse show season. White Fences offers schooling shows throughout the year. In addition, this twenty five acre facility hosts five show rings plus ample riding opportunities on the property and adjacent Deer Run.

The Ridge at Wellington Groves

The Ridge at Wellington Groves, Florida is a winter training base and home of the Palm Beach Series. The series includes Hunter Derby Days, USEF Equitation Tuesdays, the Turf Tour, and full divisions for hunters, jumpers, and equitation riders each winter.

Other Palm Beach County Equestrian Show Venues

Jim Brandon Equestrian Center, West Palm Beach, FL

The Jim Brandon Equestrian Center is a world Class Equestrian Park in Palm Beach County consisting of five riding rings, a covered arena, and two quality stables with a capacity of 128 horses. In addition, there are over nine miles of riding trails, a vendor facility, and buildings. All these improvements provide the venue with features necessary to host world class shows and competitions on its 110 acres.

Also, Jim Brandon Equestrian Center is a show venue for Wellington Classic Dressage shows, Palm Beach County Horseman's Association, and Palm Beach Posse.

Jupiter Farms Park Equestrian Center

The equestrian area is available for public use except during special events. This park is the show venue for the Jupiter Horsemen's Association which holds shows October - April. Jupiter Farms Equestrian Center also offers equestrian trails for public use.
