The Kennedy Space Center and adjacent Cape Canaveral Space Force Station support almost 100 rocket launches a year. Accordingly, you can plan a visit to the Space Coast to watch one of these breath taking launches over the blue waters of Atlantic Ocean.

And, several times a year a booster will land back at Cape Canaveral, setting off a sonic boom that never fails to startle visitors on the Space Coast. Depending on their launch direction, other boosters will land on drone barges far out in the Atlantic. These barges return the boosters to Port Canaveral, where the boosters are often visible from many of the port's restaurants, while awaiting return to nearby SpaceX hangers.
