On
November 4, and 5, 2022, horses of all ages will compete in one of several
events on the annual horse racing calendar. The Breeders Cup has several
races, as listed below, run over two days. The main race, The Longines Classic, offers a
$6 million purse. The Longines Turf provides a $4 million purse.
There will be a number of horses in the betting that will have a realistic chance at winning the race, with favorites emerging as the Triple Crown events are run and the summer horse racing season progresses.
Historic Keeneland features beautifully landscaped grounds that are open to the public every day. Fans and horsemen alike are welcome to enjoy spectacular racing, attend one of the highly anticpated horse sales, or simply visit the grounds to celebrate Keeneland's endless beauty.
Celebrate the Kentucky Derby at Keeneland. With over 1,000 television screens, access to wagering online, great food, and live music at the Bud Light Stage in the Paddock, Keeneland is the perfect place to watch the Run for the Roses. The winner will be one of the favorites for this year's Breeders' Cup.
The Breeders' Cup Classic is the marquee race at a banner event and offer $6 million in prize money. This race is one of the most exciting races to take place at the Breeders' Cup, and is run on dirt at 1 1/4 miles. The Breeder's Cup Turf race is run on grass at 1 1/2 miles.
