The Florida Derby
This end of winter season horse race serves as an important Kentucky Derby lead up race, featuring many Florida bred horses. The 2022 winner of the Florida Derby was White Abarrio. The 2023 Florida Derby will be run on April 1, 2023, five weeks prior to the Kentucky Derby.
